(Sold) Walnut - Natural Edge - 9" x 5"

This bowl is made from one of two Black Walnut Trees.  The trees had been struggling for several years due to an infestation of the Walnut Twig Beetle.  Both trees were removed during the spring of 2016.
 
The trees were approximately 53 years old and located on the campus of the University of Utah, west of the old Law Building.
