(Sold) - Giant Sequoia Redwood

Sequoia Redwood
This bowl is made from a Sequoia Redwood Tree. During the past decade, the tree had been hit by lightning several times – along with several years of drought, the tree did not survive and had to be removed during the summer of 2015.

The tree was approximately 80 years old and located in Cottam’s Gulch. It was planted by 
Walter Cottam in the 1930’s.
